Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and 8 Figure Firm Consulting, LLC ("8 Figure Firm", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using LFOS, you agree to them. If you use LFOS for a law firm, you confirm that you may bind the firm, and "you" includes the firm.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information, and it is part of these terms.

Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

A firm decides who it invites into LFOS and what each person may see and do there, and it is responsible for those choices.

You agree not to:

• upload material you do not have the right to share, or that breaks the law or a duty you owe;
• try to reach accounts, firms, or information that are not yours;
• disrupt, overload, probe, or reverse engineer LFOS, or get around its security;
• use LFOS to send spam, or to harm or deceive anyone.

Your firm owns the information and documents it puts into LFOS. You give us permission to host, process, and display them only to provide LFOS to your firm, as the Privacy Policy describes.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, including any obligations you have to your own clients.

Law firm information is often confidential. We treat your firm's information as confidential: we use it only to provide LFOS, share it only with the service providers named in the Privacy Policy, and do not disclose it to anyone else unless the law requires it.

LFOS is built for running a firm as a business: its plans, numbers, people, and policies. Do not upload clients' matter files unless your firm has decided that doing so is consistent with its professional obligations.

LFOS reads documents and uses software, including artificial intelligence, to extract information and draft summaries. Those results are drafts for your firm to review. They can be incomplete or wrong, and your firm decides what to rely on.

LFOS helps a firm organize how it runs. It is not legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice.

We work to keep LFOS available and reliable, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance or by events outside our control. We may change or improve LFOS; if a change takes away something your firm relies on, we will try to tell you in advance.

Any fees for LFOS are set out in your firm's separate agreement or order with 8 Figure Firm. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, that agreement governs.

Your firm may stop using LFOS at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts LFOS or other firms at risk, and we will tell you why unless the law or security prevents it.

When a firm stops using LFOS, its records are kept, retired, and archived as the Privacy Policy describes; they are not deleted.

To the extent the law allows, LFOS is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the extent the law allows, 8 Figure Firm is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from LFOS or these terms, even if we were told they were possible.

If we change these terms, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and tell account holders of significant changes before they take effect. Continuing to use LFOS after that means you accept the new terms.
