A reusable diagnostic and drafting tool for law firm brand messaging, built from the brand-building framework in The Law Firm Operating System. It belongs to Chapter 2, Developing a Brand That Sticks: fill in the five inputs, paste the whole thing into a new AI conversation, and get back three brand message candidates with five taglines each.
Word and PDF · 4 pages · Free to download. Part of The Law Firm Operating System Implementation Workbook.

Four pages: your inputs, the prompt itself, the three steps the prompt walks through, and the final deliverable it hands back.
A quick pass, not a relitigation. The prompt flags a Vision or Mission generic enough to belong to any firm, values that are single buzzwords, service standards with no numbers, or a selling proposition that does not actually differentiate, then asks one targeted follow-up question and moves on.
Five to ten candidates, each a few clear, concrete sentences pulled from the pasted inputs, checked against the book's tests: is it immediately clear what problem you solve and for whom, does it exclude the wrong clients as clearly as it attracts the right ones, does it pass the think, feel, do test, and could it become a short, memorable tagline. Three are recommended, with five tagline options each.
A consistency checklist for where the message must show up, verbatim or in spirit: website homepage, social bios, ad copy, intake scripts, and how staff answer what the firm does. Then a recommendation to test it with a handful of real or past clients before rolling it out everywhere.
The book's formula runs through the whole prompt. Brand Message equals Vision plus Mission plus Values plus Service Standards plus Unique Selling Proposition, compressed into a few clear, concrete sentences, not a fresh slogan invented independently of the inputs.
Your firm's name and the five inputs, in the boxes on the first page. Do this before sending.
Inputs and prompt together, into a new AI conversation.
If an input will visibly weaken the brand message, the prompt names it in one or two sentences and asks one targeted question. Sharpen it and move on.
A single clean summary document: the five inputs as provided, the top three brand messages, five tagline options for each, and a channel checklist for where to deploy it.
One document, in Word for editing and PDF for reading.
